Uniclox Technologies, a leader in the Resource Management sector, has already begun its restructuring strategic plan to move to a solutions based company. The restructuring will enable Uniclox to be responsive to the needs of its clients.
“2015 is a really exciting time for Uniclox,” says MD Sophia Hislop, “It’s our 70th Birthday and having taken over the company since my father’s passing 4 years ago, the team and I decided there is no better time to continue with his vision to create a company which leads the field in Resource Management.’
“We have begun that process with vigour and our customers are already seeing announcements of strategic partnerships with other sector leaders.”
Rodney Sanders, CEO of RENS a business management consultancy and General Manager at Uniclox, says this year is the right timing to make strategic changes to the business. “When Sophia called me in to take a look at the Uniclox business, it was clear that Uniclox needed to be more solutions centric than product centric if the business was to grow to meet the shared vision of Sophia and her father.’
“They have a well experienced management team at Uniclox, a team that knows the sector inside out. The products are best of breed and their Vision Software suite is an industry leading integrated set of solutions that will propel their customers into their own growth and profitability.’
“Rodney is a hands-on manager,” says Sophia, “and knowing his own company so well, I had no doubt he was the man to lead our future business growth and bring our vision to reality. We are already seeing growth and a wider range of innovative solutions we can take to our existing 15 000 customers.”
In the past few weeks Uniclox has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Softcon – a mutually beneficial agreement that will provide both companies’ customers with a full range of solutions, from Time & Attendance, Building Management, Access Management, to Labour Management.
“We are all excited by the Softcon agreement,” says R&D Head Kobus Nieuwoudt at Uniclox. “Watch this space – it’s just the first step in the right direction.”
Uniclox will celebrate another strategic partnership signing with international company Bodet in Hyde Park, Sandton, on 16 April 2015. Bodet are sending out a team from their headquarters in France for the occasion.
“The partnership with Bodet will expose Uniclox and its clients to the latest hardware, best practice and international trends in software development for resource management. Bodet has more than 127 years of experience in resource management. This synergy will be mutually beneficial with both companies being experts in workforce management and access control. Bodet is a software publisher, hardware manufacturer and solutions integrator. Uniclox will become the local distributor, adding to its already impressive product suite of tailor-made resource management solutions,” says Nieuwoudt.
