Lightforce Australia Launch Venom – A Dynamic New Driving Light

Combining ten years of research and development with the latest in technology and style, Venom is set to bring long distance driving lights to the next level.  This dynamic addition to the Lightforce range enables drivers of all vehicles, regardless of size to experience the benefits that long distance driving lights have to offer.  The 170mm diameter Venom has been designed based on the most popular sized Lightforce driving light with additions that have lifted it to the next level. To suit market demand, the Lightforce R&D team created a light specifically to suit small SUVs and 4WDs that still packs a punch when it comes to performance.

The unique 25mm clearance combined with a four point mounting system allows a level of installation versatility not previously available with the Lightforce range. In addition, small LED lights surround the edge of the light to provide added safety and a sleek edge to this revolutionary product.

Lightforce R&D Director, Des Burns explains that “Venom truly is the first of its kind – a small driving light that delivers the same performance as large format lights. Venom fits perfectly on any vehicle and is the ultimate stylish accessory, providing a unique design aesthetic usually reserved for premium European vehicles”.

Available in HID, Venom features a state of the art Osram ballast and bulb for rapid start up, quickly achieving full brilliance. The superior Osram bulb delivers a full spectrum 4200k colour temperature with good contrast for long distance driving, particularly in outback conditions, where visibility of animals in the road verge is critical.
Venom is constructed of a lightweight polycarbonate composite resin, and is impact resistant to 30 Joules and fatigue resistant 30Hz vibration at 3 days continuous duty.  From the frozen Arctic tundra to the scorching heat of the Australian Outback, Venom is the ultimate performance driving light.

Venom will be launched to much fanfare at the Brisbane 4X4 show on the first weekend in April – visitors will be able to experience Venom at the Lightforce stand and go in the running to win one of the first available sets in the country.
