AECOM has appointed Dr Kim le Roux as its Environment and Ground Engineering Lead for Africa. Le Roux has worked as a geotechnical professional for the past 20 years.
She has nine years’ experience managing technical delivery on a range of geotechnical projects, including site construction supervision, project management and team leader. She has worked in Australia, Canada and across Africa, and is presently heading AECOM’s Africa Ground Engineering business.
Holding both South African and Australian citizenship, Le Roux has a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto in Canada, a BSc Honours in Engineering Geology from the University of Natal in Durban, and a GDE Graduate Diploma in Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Le Roux has professional registration from the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP).
